Lysis Technologies in the battle against COVID-19
Keeping in mind the shortage in PPE around the market despite the increasing needs due to Covid-19, Lysis Technologies laboratory started producing spray hand sanitiser end of March, following WHO guidelines. Our scope was to donate to hospitals and healthcare facilities, police, firefighters and first responders serving our community.
So we did!
We are also proud, we supplied other companies within our supply chain such as industrial partners and transportation companies.
“The focus, at first was, how can we keep ourselves and our families safe,” said Dr Ramin Djalali, company’s CEO. “That was immediately followed by the fact that we, as a company, use the same chemicals to make medical inks that are required to make hand sanitiser. We had the space and the required GMP compliance in place, as well as a permit to receive the appropriate materials. Then, the bigger picture of helping others was next.“
Lysis Technologies Ltd quickly used its expertise to formulate and produce the hand sanitisers.
“We, as a company, have a history of making donations to mostly ‘grassroots groups’ and this is a time to extend that out to the local community and our country,” Ramin concluded.
